Not sure your living situation. But when we used to travel all of the time. we were not allowed to have anything with an open flame. No charcoal, and no gas grills. so I bought electric out door grills and they worked pretty good. Not sure you can get his by your management. (if you ask they will say NO) but if you have it they usually won't say anything.

2 tips though. You do have to allow them to warm up first, that is very important. and #2. the food will have to cook longer than on a regular charcoal or gas grill. but you will learn your grill and it will work great!
I now have this little beauty for indoor grilling, griddle, and waffles
I love this thing. is very easy to clean and the plates pop off and flip over to are griddle plates on the other side. You can also buy some waffle plates for it. Oh and they can go right into the dishwasher.
And this scrub brush is Amazing for cleaning the grill pans.
