Maybe a foldable easel? I just got one for my birthday (haven't used it yet though) but my brother has been enjoying his for a little under a year. the foldable aspect is nice if she's in an apartment. Alternatively (or additionally) consider an art set if she hasn't drawn anything in a while - help her get back into the game.

I would recommend a French easel if you set up/tear down a lot. I have a cheap tabletop French easel, and screwed a nut into the bottom so I can attach it to a tripod. That’s what I use for Plein air painting. (I wish I had something more stable though.)

The French Easel would make a good easel for use in an apartment. You can stow it pretty easily, and you can take it with you for Plein air painting.

Something like this is what I have in mind. I can’t recommend that one in particular because I’ve never used it, but that’s the kind of thing I’d be looking into.
