I pretty much trawled amazon and secondhand book sites to find them for my gf, I did manage to get AA in hardcover in very very good condition just be aware it will cost a lot if you find a copy. I found all 3 trilogies in Hardback for my Gf and the AA copy cost more than the rest combined.

Not quite correct, you can get an Apprentice UK HC used for 20 pounds plus shipping. The trick is Royal, it's real pricey.
