Hey all!
Thanks in advance for what I’m sure will seem like a super simple question. I am brand new to the world of PC gaming, and I’m not great at figuring out what laptops would best meet my needs for basic computer gaming (ie- I want to play Sims 4 base game with a few extension packs and maybe a few mods/cc). I’m hesitant to spend a ton of money in case my interest and/or time wears thin and I don’t end up playing long-term or as much as I think I will. Both my husband and I own iPads as well as work laptops for word-processing and office needs, so the laptop we purchase would be primarily for gaming. Of the two computers below, which is the best bang for my budget-conscious buck?
Option 1- ASUS X555QA Laptop, 15.6" HD, AMD Quad Core A12-9700P (Up to 3.4GHz) Processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB Hybrid HDD, Windows 10 64-bit - X555QA-DH12
Option 2- HP Pavillion
Thanks so much for the help!! I appreciate it (and am continuing to try and educate myself about tech specs on computers!)
whats the lowdown on this asus laptop? reviews are rather suspect, but I like the price
