i have these magnetic sheets from an earlier project. one side has an adhesive backing.

i cut the bags/graphics a bit bigger than i want the final magnet, stick it to the magnet, and trim with an x-acto. if the bag or sticker is paper (not water resistant), i'll add a layer of clear laminate to protect it a bit.

Oh, an aside: I'm reminded that I have some self-adhesive laminating sheets; these might work if required.

I use a self-adhesive laminate to protect stuff for outside use. It works pretty well.

Its actually pretty easy to make and laminate cards at home yourself. Grab a stack of already perforated business card stock from an office supply store. Also grab self adhesive laminating material: https://www.amazon.com/Avery-Self-Adhesive-Laminating-Sheets-73601/dp/B00007E7D2

Make a design you want, word has an option to create business cards (just start there and then mold the design) when ready to print there is an option to let your printer know you are printing to business card stock. Print out what you need and then laminating using the self adhesive laminating material. Good luck. Also fedex/kinkos can print something for you as well.

Look around for paper miniatures. You can even buy excellent PDF files. Print out and then place one sheet of self adhesive laminating sheet over it. You only need one sheet over the front. If you want to maximize a single laminating sheet, cut out the images you want and carefully place them on the adhesive sheet.

Cut out figures. Fold in half. And then put them in slide plastic clips which you can find as office supplies. The wide part will act as a base to prop up your paper mini. And since the paper surface is covered in a plastic laminated sheet, they will last for years (provided you don't spill liquid all over them). For grunt soldier opposition, I'd just use coins or glass beads. Figures like this for your players and main NPCs actually look pretty decent, are cheap, and will handle normal wear and tear from gaming for years.

If the spine is in good shape still, you can reinforce the cover by using leather or wood, or by buying a textbook cover. If you still want to see the cover, use self-afhesive laminating sheets like this.

I need lamination sheets to finish the baby's SmartHands Cards. Going to teach her sign language as soon as I get these cards droolproof. It is so fun to watch the babies learn to sign.

Thanks for the contest.

Agreed. Laminating stickers printed with inkjet is a must. Use these. Get a squeegee to help apply to your sticker sheet before cutting.

As for what you print on: make sure they are weatherproof and compatible with your type of printer.
