That's why you buy something like this and trap them. You also get the toddler onboard to distract the younger ones.

Travel Crib

This thing is awesome. It folds out and closes up in seconds. the pack and play cant hold a candle to this thing.

So i know you said the dock a tot is a bit pricey, but the baby bjorn travel crib has been a GODSEND for us. We travel from IL to MO often to visit family and this is by far the most useful thing that bring with us.

I have 3 normal graco pack and plays and planned on just bringing those when traveling and whatnot, but we got this as a gift and it is the best thing ever. It's super lightweight and SO easy to put together. None of the pieces come apart, it literally just folds up into itself. And when it folds together, it's super compact and easily fits in a car or a closet. We honestly just leave it in the trunk of the car and pull it out if we are out and about.

I think it is worth every penny and I wish i had another one!

OT, but FYI some traveling friends recommended the BabyBjorn travel crib, which apparently is super lightweight and portable — and, according to them, better than the pack and play. I've got on my list of must-gets — check it out if that pack and play is bumming you out.

We bought a regular PNP when we first had my daughter, but when we got serious about air travel and conserving space when traveling in our car, I splurged on a Baby Bjorn travel crib. It is SO much lighter and easier to travel with than a PNP. It folds up into a a briefcase like carrying case, and we just check it at the desk with our other baggage. We've never had to pay for it since it's a baby item. It's pricey, but I highly recommend it! It even has a small soft mattress pad that tucks right into it when you fold it up.

When I was supplementing with formula and traveling, I went ahead and separated out formula into breastmilk bags. That way, I ditched the can, and I didn't have to measure anything out. I didn't have any problems bringing it through security, they just did the swab test on one of the plastic bags. I brought 3-4 bottles, and I just washed them at the hotel.

Yep, I brought the diaper bag on the plane. Your baby will poop. Trust me.

We love our 10-lb, easy fold, convenient Bjorn Travel Crib. (Bought it second hand because it's quite $$.)

Can you carry on a collapsible play pen or travel crib? Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/BABYBJORN-Travel-Crib-Light-Silver/dp/B00IM8G038?th=1 or just a basic Pack n Play if you want to be more budget conscious, although they are pretty bulky and you'd probably have to check it: https://www.amazon.com/Graco-Pack-Play-Playard-Aspery/dp/B00LVMSU0S/ref=sr_1_1_s_it?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1496339186&sr=1-1&keywords=pack%2Bn%2Bplay&th=1
