No problem - I am happy to help.
Ok. In my opinion you are combing too much through out the day. This can cause split ends and make existing split ends worse as well as break and pull hairs. Another thing to consider is the width between the teeth of your comb, if it is too fine then that could be an issue as well. When it comes to the health of your beard the only reason you should be combing after your get it conditioned and shaped after your shower is if it is unruly and you need to get it in line.
EDC Comb I use:

I would recommend a balm/butter with your oil to see if that provides any positive results.
One of the balms I use:

As far as oil goes I make my own but Honest Amish is a great place to start. Make sure there isn't any silicone or petrolatum in your products.

Washing/Conditioning:
You might also want to look into "cowashing" if you are not familiar with what cowashing is it is simply using a beard softner/beard conditioner <same thing> once a day. Put it in in the shower and let it sit for 5 min. or so then rinse it out. You can leave some in if you like to help work with the oil and balm to keep it conditioned.
Be aware you can use too much of this stuff and have to wash it out to start all over. The goal is to be conditioned not wet looking.
