This book is pretty hand and the illustrations are neat: Baseball Field Guide: An In-Depth Illustrated Guide to the Complete Rules of Baseball
I stumbled across a book at a bookstore a few years ago called the Baseball Field Guide. I remember it being very cleanly designed and illustrated. It covers the rules and terms of baseball nicely and would be a good primer for someone getting into the sport.
