Hi,

from what i was able to find:
http://s592234689.onlinehome.us/beginnersukrainian/index.html
apparently this should go with book, i can see it on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Beginners-Ukrainian-Interactive-Workbook-Edition/dp/0781813247

but it's probably avaliable at other stores too. I'm not sure how good it is though, hopefully other redditors will have more information on this.
And feel free to ask if anything, Ukrainian can be a bit complicated so start with so don't be shy :)

Thanks, some searching turned up a 50,000 word list from subtitles, which is perfect (see the edit in my original text post).

I'm using Shevchuk's Beginner's Ukrainian as my main reference, Anki lists for vocab, keybr for getting my typing speed up, and I'm supplementing throughout the day with DuoLingo. I try to watch a Ukrainian movie every couple of weeks. Plus I ask my girlfriend things occasionally :)

This is a pretty full toolkit, so I'm wary of overloading myself, but if you have a suggestion I'm all ears!!

https://www.amazon.com/Beginners-Ukrainian-Interactive-Online-Workbook/dp/0781813247 This was the book we used in my Ukrainian course at university. It has online audio and answer keys so it's very easy to teach yourself.

https://speakukraine.net/ This is Ukraine's online language website (although I haven't used it yet).
