some people swear by it and say its better than g-sync and ips stuff

The Asus is actually cheaper, but the BenQ is always recommended. I can't get any info on which monitor is higher quality or better overall.
EDIT: It's really a question of DyAc vs Gsync for motion blur/smoothness.
