Reddit mentions of Beyond Words

Have you looked into Dzogchen at all? It is extremely simple (but not easy) and I found it to be an effective practice for this purpose.

A book I liked is called "Beyond words: Dzogchen made simple"

Essentially the idea is "be Awareness, at all times, in daily life."

You do this by attaining knowledge/experience of Rigpa (this is what they call Awareness, aka the 'primordial state' or the 'absolute' ) and then just trying to reside "there" / "as that" / "in that state" during your entire waking life.

One technique I heard for doing this is:

• close your eyes, see the colour of the back of your eyelids
  
• now 'go back' and observe yourself, seeing the colour of the back of your eyelids
  
• you are now in Rigpa
  
  Of course this assumes you've had some kind of 'awakening' or 'understanding' or 'experience' of that blank Awareness that underpins everything.... so if you don't know what I'm talking about, aim for that first.
