Honestly if you want to try a cheap yet safe way to try out appendix carry go to the BlackHawk ARC it is designed to ride high and conceal and only csot $17 to get a good feel for it. This holster is incorporated in my line of carry holsters for my shield. It gets as much use if not more as my Incog

What I used for carry on campus.
Happy cake day! I carry left handed. At round 10 o'clock, the backside of my holster jabs my tummy. Also, I have a huge bulge on the front side even with a large shirt. Here is the holster I use: https://amzn.com/B00TCOU0AK
Maybe I should try this one? The problem with the other one is the back part of the holster that covers the slide pokes me.

I just got that in the mail yesterday and wore it today...all day...and love it so far. Under $16 brand new...can't complain.
Here's what I use. Not too expensive and pretty solid. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00W5PJBEO/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have a ton of different holsters (Alien Gear, StealthGear, etc.) and haven't found any as comfortable as that one. Even though it's dirt cheap, it has decent retention (you can tighten the screw really tight), great trigger coverage, and is hardly noticeable.
