Anker SoundBuds Slim Wireless Headphones Bluetooth 4.1 Lightweight Stereo IPX5 Earbuds with Magnetic Connection NANO Coating Sweatproof Sports Headset with Metallic Housing Built-in Mic (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N6DC2ZE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_sIy4AbT6B81HH

Best $25 I've ever spent. I've had them 6 months and use them daily. Absolutely no complaints. Funny enough, i had it narrowed down to Anker vs. Taotronics in the end. They look and function almost identically. I went with Anker due to brand name recognition and their customer service is amazing.

u/_Connor · 10 pointsr/gainit

I bought these $30 blutooth ones for the gym and honestly they've been awesome.

I've used them in the gym for 16 months no issue. I even put them through the washer once by accident and they still work perfect like a year later. Battery is good not great, probably 5-6 hours.

u/CryHav0c · 10 pointsr/buildapcsales

If you're looking for a cheaper bluetooth alternative I can recommend these, which sound excellent for the price and have great features (magnetic housing for instance).

u/EzeSharp · 10 pointsr/swoleacceptance

I have the same problem with earbuds falling out but I recently got a pair of [Anker wireless earbuds](http://www.Anker.com/ SoundBuds Slim Wireless Headphones, Bluetooth 4.1 Lightweight Stereo Earbuds with Magnetic Connection, NANO Coating Sweatproof Sports Headset with Metallic Housing & Built-in Mic (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N6DC2ZE?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf) and can honestly say they are great. For the price they are a steal and Anker is a great company.

They don't noise cancel but fit snugly enough that I can't really hear anything outside.

u/Jeade-en · 8 pointsr/running

I accidentally proved that these headphones are very, very water resistant.

Story time: I bought a pair to use on vacation, and was listening to podcasts on the drive while my wife took her turn to sleep. We were caught in some major storms on the last part of our drive, and it was still coming down really hard when we pulled into the hotel in the middle of the night. The hotel didn't have a covered place to unload, so we parked as near as we could to the front door, grabbed our stuff and made a run for it. She got us checked in while I went back out to move the truck to a real parking spot. Somewhere in this, my headphones fell off and landed on the sidewalk in front of the hotel.

I got the truck parked, and I realized I didn't have the headphones anymore. I looked around the truck and didn't see them, and I was hoping they were inside with our stuff. I got into the hotel and looked through what we carried in, but couldn't find them. I was already soaked, so I went out with my phone flashlight and looked around. I found them after a couple minutes by where we unloaded in a puddle in the middle of a massive downpour. They were outside for probably about 10 minutes in a giant thunderstorm, and they're totally fine. If you're looking for a cheap pair of headphones that will stand up to sweat and rain, I'm sure these will do the job!

u/[deleted] · 8 pointsr/running

$25 but super solid and reliable. My SO's been running in these for over a year happily. Wireless under $15 sounds like you're gonna have a bad time, even if they're a back up.

You clearly have formed an opinion on Bluetooth headphones. Give these a shot. I've burned through a dozen pairs and I've landed on these and won't change. They have better sound than a lot of headphones I've used. I was blown away when I heard surround sound.

Wired headphones are annoying. Many come with clips so you can attach the wire to your shirt to reduce bouncing around.

I've never had any luck with arm bands. That waist belt is simple and cheap. Holds my phone and keys very well with no jostling.

I'm no audiophile, especially so when I'm at the gym, so I usually just buy cheaper ones on Amazon. I bought the Anker Soundbuds Slim a couple months ago and so far I love them. Paid less than $35, battery life is advertised at 10hrs, and honestly it's probably pretty close to that.

I was a Jaybirds devotee until they died and replacing them wasn't in the budget. Tried these [https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01N6DC2ZE/ref=mp_s_a_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1498054412&sr=8-12&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=anker] and was so impressed I didn't buy new Jaybirds even when I had an opening in the budget.

It really isn't that expensive unless you only look at Sennheiser, AirPods, and Beats.

u/kalvermarkt · 5 pointsr/xxfitness

i recently purchased anker soundbuds slim. they ran me ~25$ (CAD). i LOVE them & am so glad i didn’t shell out a bunch of money for something maybe technically “better”. sound quality is good, secure in my ears, easy set-up/connect. i only use them for listening to podcasts, not really a music workout girl, so i can’t comment on how quality translates in that context. but for my needs they absolutely rule. good luck!!

I don't know if I'm a "heavy sweater" but I run 3 miles every other day with these

They are currently on sale and are very comfortable

If you like the style of the Beats X, the Anker SoundBuds Slim are a great option at 1/5th the price. Great sound and connectivity.

Try these out https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01N6DC2ZE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_2apOBbT0Y1ZR4, like less than half price and sound quality is amazing. The mic quality for calls is also very good, surprisingly.

u/McAoXlIa · 5 pointsr/de_EDV

Hab mir die hier von Anker gekauft. Für mich sind die ausreichend und bringen mich über die Woche. Bei amazon kann man ja auch zurückschicken, wenn die einem nicht gefallen, also solltest du damit keine wirklichen Probleme haben.

I got a pair of Anker SoundBud Slims on amazon for about €20 a few months ago, I find them great. And the back of each bud has a magnet, so you can leave them around your neck when you have to take them out. Or as a fashion statement...

u/friardon · 4 pointsr/running

Anker makes a cheap pair (sorry, only have US dollars to compare to) as does Sound Peats (the pair I have).
The Sound OK, but I am going to get a pair of Anker buds soon because I want to get rid of the inner ear part (they have a pair that does not go into the ear) do to some ear / health problems I have.

u/HlValadeen · 4 pointsr/GalaxyS8

If I had to choose, I would choose the S2. It's more usable than the IconX imo. The battery life on the IconX is like 1 hour streaming and 3 hours if you play music that's been transfered to its onboard memory.

If you really want wireless earphones, something like this is a decent alternative with a better battery life.

u/mckulty · 3 pointsr/audiobooks

It's the consonants that carry meaning in speech. Whispers are easy to understand because frequencies under 5000 aren't really necessary.

Good headphones strive to be flat, cheap ones usually lack bass. But it might be a bargain for audiobooks. A hundred dollars of high-fidelity flatness would be wasted on audiobook, podcasts and talk radio. If it has great reproduction, I'm going straight to Settings to set a custom profile.

If you wear them all the time, bluetooth is important, so is discretion, battery life, and noise isolation. Also important, I'm going to lose them before they wear out. Right now I have a set of $26 Anker and they're good enough I don't think about them.

u/Laskovich98 · 3 pointsr/gadgets

What strikes me as weird here...

they have the same control pod & cable as the "Wicked Audio Shred" http://wickedaudio.com/product/shred-wireless-mens/

and

the same silicone wings as the Anker Soundbuds Slim https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Headphones-Lightweight-Connection-Sweatproof/dp/B01N6DC2ZE

I get a lot of headphones like this for review, and i often see that these companies seem to be just throwing together options from the same factory.

u/Terethor · 3 pointsr/france

u/HashtagFlexBreak · 3 pointsr/pelotoncycle

These are the ones I bought. Good enough for the commute to work. I haven't tried working out with them, but I'm sure it would work well enough.

Pair them up with some Comply tips and you're golden.

u/triface1 · 2 pointsr/singapore

Anker Soundbuds Slim are pretty good for the price. Small, great sound and well-fitting stock earbuds, but battery life is mediocre. I did a battery test and it lasted about 4 hour 40 minutes.

u/Wakibara · 2 pointsr/GooglePixel

I use the Anker Soundbuds Slim, although solely for the gym instead of a daily driver. They're a decent budget BT earbud option for me.

  • Decent battery life (6-7 hours)
  • Lots of accessories (different sized tips, hooks, a case, clips)
  • Lightweight
  • Magnetic tips

As long as you can get a good seal in your ears, it's a solid pair.
u/KurlblaiKhan · 2 pointsr/Weakpots

I've got these Anker ones -
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Headphones-Lightweight-Connection-Sweatproof/dp/B01N6DC2ZE

I too have shorted out 3-4 pairs of bluetooth buds and these have lasted far longer than any other pair I've owned. Sound is pretty decent for bluetooth and 'sporty'. Plus the backs are magnetized so you can stick em to things.

u/Rocko9999 · 2 pointsr/HeadphoneAdvice

or Jaybird X3 for a better quality and app that you can customize the sound.

u/llevar · 2 pointsr/thewallstreet

I used these - https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Headphones-Lightweight-Connection-Sweatproof/dp/B01N6DC2ZE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1537863214&sr=8-1&keywords=anker+soundbuds

Price is right and all the features are there for workout buds. I think there is very little to be gained by getting expensive buds for the gym, and you will be upset when you forget them in the locker room or step on them while working out in a few months. Sound quality and ergonomics are completely fine on these.

u/MGRPhoto · 2 pointsr/bicycling

I just use these from Anker. They're cheap enough that if I destroy them I dont care but they have good battery and decent sound for what i use them for. They stay in my ears well while riding (even on hot sweaty days) and I can pull them out quick if I need to. I use the supplied clip to clip them to my jersey collar

u/slightlyblighty · 2 pointsr/asmr

I've been looking for a solution for years. Though none of the stuff I've bought have really helped. I was advised to stay clear of the cheap sleep phones and I can't afford the expensive quality ones. Suffice to say that none of the stuff I have bought work so well. Eventually got used to sleeping upright. Don't give up! I haven't stopped looking since.

There are some cheap bluetooth ones but that's just what they are - cheap. They work a lot better than regular if you can find a mid range that you can afford. Here's mine

Anker Bluetooth Headphones,... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01N6DC2ZE?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Be advised that the lower frequencies are boosted somewhat compared to regular headphones

u/BigFatBallBag · 2 pointsr/running

Bought these Anker headphones from Amazon a while back and can reccomend for running:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01N6DC2ZE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_JED7BbSTA63XH

Come with a variety of earbud sizes which I would recommend experimenting with to make sure they are comfortable and stay in your ear. Battery life is good and the volume control is smaller than other Bluetooth headphones I've used, so doesn't feel heavy and smack you in the face. Also comes with a small clip which I use to keep the volume control in one place attached to my collar. Bluetooth connectivity is good and sound quality is decent but nothing mind blowing if youre an audiophile. Hope this helps.

u/Tetbu · 2 pointsr/PrimeDay

These aren't the best, but deff worth the $20. You have to fit them correctly in your ear or the bass sounds crappy. They also pull a little to the right side because the weight of the controls.

u/DarienStegosaur · 2 pointsr/GooglePixel

It sounds like you have not actually ordered yet, so here's a suggestion for Bluetooth earbuds:

Anker Soundbuds Slim are very similar to the ones you are looking at, but they support aptX HD (So they will sound better and have lower latency) and are cheaper. I have the Soundbuds Curve which feature a slightly different design. They are super comfortable and sound great, so I expect the Slims will work just as well. Lots of people recommend both styles in any thread asking for Bluetooth suggestions.

I really like this wall charger. Bluetooth headphones that charge via USB-C are basically non-existent, so this lets me charge the accessories while also charging my phone at full speed.

The Whitestone Dome is good, but they have awful customer service if you have any issues. Especially since you are going through a forwarder, taking weeks to get a resolution if you have an issue might be a deal breaker for you.

u/bumpy4skin · 2 pointsr/soccer

I spent years having this issue. People would look at me like I'm crazy when I say that no matter what earphones I buy they last max a few months.

A game changer was when HMV started doing their headphone insurance... those were the fucking days... They stopped that up pretty sharpish when shit started going south.

Anyway, yes, the solution is wireless. I am now on by far my longest ever lasting pair, and it's my first wireless pair. Can't be a coincidence at this point.

u/joet10 · 2 pointsr/artc

I've personally had good experiences with these -- good battery life, durable, sound quality is fine, and most importantly cheap (for Bluetooth, if you're looking for that).

u/ccai · 2 pointsr/Android

> which this is, fitting so many hours of battery life, getting reliable bluetooth signals with only Millimeters of space inside your ears is fucking futuristic

Seriously? The buds themselves have subpar battery life compared to even the Chinese sets for its size. They have about 4-5 hours of battery life, which the smaller Jaybird X2 and X3's have managed to surpass with ~8 hour battery lives since they were released over 2 years ago and do not require a case or the Anker ones that are 1/6th the price with 7 hour battery life. The only reason they have "24 hour battery life" is due to the case with a secondary battery you you need to top them off. At that price you can get a secondary mini battery bank and get "OVER A WEEK OF CHARGE".

The only advantage these have is the quicker to connect tech they placed in, a capacitive surface to tap instead of buttons and live translation which is just a software barrier Google setup, not some proprietary hardware restriction. They are lack luster for their price, they don't excel in any category, not battery even with the extra capacity from the case (as you are required to use both ears at once instead being able to use just a single ear a la AirPods), not size again due to the case and debatable awkward design, not sound quality as it's at best on par with other buds in it's pricing category and not when it comes to syncing as it can only be connected to one device exclusively. If you choose to use it between multiple devices, you must sync it with the headphones in case and then complete a new process each time, it won't remember former devices you use it with despite this being a common feature among headsets a fraction of it's price. There's nothing innovative or great about this product, you can get far better ones for a fraction of the price.

u/Vettro88 · 2 pointsr/Android

They're wireless, but these ones replaced my Passport headphones seamlessly, with ear tabs and shirt clip.

I run in rain, snow and non life treating hail. Basically until there is no lightnings I'm fine. I run with iPhone 6 as well and my method is to put it in to a zip bag, the same as you would use on the airport for liquids and comsetics. Touch screen still works trough the bag and I am using bluetooth headphones so there is no need for any connectors going into the bag. As for the headphones I am using cheapest decent ones that I don't mind destroying. Currently I am using Anker Soundbuds Slim which I bought for £18 and they still going since June last year so pretty much trough all the seasons.

u/zirconer · 1 pointr/bikecommuting

Seconded on the Anker buds. I've been using their Soundbuds Slim for a few years now and like them; would probably give them a grade of B+. I've gone through a few pairs because of accidentally losing them, but since they are just $25, the hit isn't too bad.

I regularly commute and listen to podcasts while wearing one earbud in (the right one, because then the remote on the cable is more accessible) and keep the other tucked under my shirt. Haven't had an issue with my helmet or glasses, and I also use them while wearing a balaclava similar to this one in cold weather. I can still manipulate the buttons on the cable through the balaclava even though I'm wearing gloves, although it would probably be tough to have a phone conversation with the microphone through the balaclava.

I use Anker Soundbuds Slim from Amazon for like $25. I use them at work and in my shop. Since they're noise cancelling I don't always play music through them when i need them. They're a pretty comfortable fit, the battery life is decent and they stay together like a necklace when they're not in my ears. #1 thing is that they're cheap and still sound good.

u/DapperDop · 1 pointr/Earbuds

I just reviewed these. they’re pretty solid. There’s also a variety by Anker, but they don’t sound as good.

u/VQopponaut35 · 1 pointr/Android

Before you give up, I’d try these. They’re sweat resistant, have a great mechanism for staying in your ears (that doesn’t interfere with a helmet) and have a 7 hour battery. I bought pairs for my fiancé and mother after my success with an even cheaper pair (these are currently listed at $20 in the US).

u/Batman_00 · 1 pointr/running

My bluetooth headphones are these £19 Anker ones from Amazon. Im not an audiophile but i think they're really good value. Definitely sound good enough for me.

I listen to audiobooks for slow runs and for the first 80% of my long runs. Music for the end of long runs and for faster runs.

u/PM_me_goat_gifs · 1 pointr/socialskills
  1. Accept that there will always be some probability of this happening and thats fine.

  2. It seems like you're saying that you're okay listening to people but you'd like to express more of yourself in conversations. I think part of this is having a few things that you like to talk about. I have a few topics that I can give my opinions on or talk about my experiences.

How did I get those? Partly, going and doing things or reading things. Partly, talking to myself. One great thing about the existence of cheap wireless earbuds is that it is now socially acceptable to talk to yourself while going for a walk.

So I don't know about the fit because everyone's ears are different, but a budget option is the Anker Soundbud Slim. I'm assuming it can be charged via battery pack but I don't know for certain. Sound quality is very good for the price, pretty confident they'll sound better than what you already have. If you're looking for something that is truly wireless though, check out the Anker Soundcore Liberty Lite or something along those lines. Haven't heard these ones but I expect it to be pretty good.

Anker products are great for the price. I use the SoundBuds Slim in the gym and cannot complain: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Headphones-Lightweight-Connection-Sweatproof/dp/B01N6DC2ZE/

You might try SoundBuds Slim. I picked them up on sale as a cheap backup, but now they are my preferred set.

Ive been using these for about 6 months and they have worked great for me. They are even magnetic so they make a “necklace” when you are not useing them.

I got these because I knew they could not fall out and were hell of a lot cheaper also.

u/chippies · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

They can't compete with the price of normal headphone makers? That's also in Canadian dollars, so it's even more absurd that you would make that claim. That's a 4.4/5 rating on 431 customer reviews. Also, please explain what the difference is between "removing a feature" and "not a separate feature"?.

My analogy is perfectly relevant, you're just butthurt because people aren't agreeing with your post telling them how to spend their money based on your preferences. Why did you delete the original post, anyways?

What about ones that have a loop for the ear like this?

There are also in ear earphones with a flap to give extra grip:

I would recommend buying from Amazon since you can return if they don't work well for you.

I just bought some Anker Soundbuds Slims. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N6DC2ZE

They're fantastic, I'm VERY impressed with both the sound quality and connection strength (other Bluetooth headphones I've had are unreliable as hell).

As for removing/replacing apps, I think Moto does a good job of not putting bloatware on their phones. So most of the included apps are stock Android apps, which are pretty smooth and reliable. But to be fair, it's been a few years since I've owned a Moto (and they're owned by Lenovo now).

u/seehadreddit · 1 pointr/Aliexpress

I've seen the Anker IPX5 SoundBuds on other websites. Have you used Anker before? These look similar to the Soundsports in that the shape seems to click into the ear.

u/Joe_Malinowski · 1 pointr/BudgetAudiophile

I picked up the Anker SoundBuds Slim a few months ago and have been very happy with them. This is coming from someone who cares about sound quality. They're inexpensive and sound great, I highly recommend them.

Looking to get some wireless headphones for the gym and using skype on my computer. Don't need anything fancy, trying to keep it cheap.

What do you think about JBL E25BT for $30 (Fry's with a promo) vs Anker Soundbuds Slim for $20?

JBL's a better brand, but the Ankers are highly rated, sweat proof, and not sure if the additional little ear thingy will help them stay put in my ears?

Which would you buy?

u/canibeameme · 1 pointr/headphones

Hi, I'm looking for a pair of bluetooth headphones to use while exercising (mainly running). I've narrowed it down to the Anker Soundbuds, but there are quite a few different models available on Amazon so I'm not sure which I should be getting/what the differences are. Here's the links to the models:

Sport

NB10

Slim

Here's the template with relevant information:

Budget - Less than £50

Source - My phone (Oneplus 3T if it's relevant)

Requirements for Isolation - Not a massive concern - I'll be using them while running in the countryside so there won't be much noise to block

Will you be using these Headphones in Public? Yes

Preferred Type of Headphone - IEMs

Preferred tonal balance - Balanced

Past headphones - Soundmagic e10 in terms of earbuds. I really liked them - they were durable and the sound quality wasn't noticeably bad to my ear. Problem is mainly just the wire which gets in the way while running.

Preferred Music - Mainly hiphop and electronic music

What would you like to improve on from your set-up - Sound quality is fine as is, just looking for comfort, durability and for the headphones to stay in my ears

Location - UK

Thanks for any advice you can give

I'm not privy to those details.

If you're logged in to Seller Central, it is a feature that would fall under Advertising -> Enhanced Brand Content when it is made available.

Currently, the Enhanced Brand Content feature only allows pictures and more product detail descriptions to be added to the detail page.

Take a look at one of Anker's detail pages: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N6DC2ZE

The images/text under the Product Description section are what Anker has added under Enhanced Brand Content.

Anker Soundbuds Slim had these for a few weeks, they sound great having them around my neck all the time is really convenient.

u/Evil_Thresh · 1 pointr/headphones

Ah I see. For a minimalist band design I would recommend the TaoTronic In Ear Neckband Piece $25. The trade off is that all the controls are now in the ear piece if you are ok with the additional weight on the bulky earpieces. Alternatively the Anker Soundbuds $25 have the controls on the cable but comes with a standard sized ear piece if that is within your tolerance. Lastly I would recommend The Phaiser BHS 750 at $50 because it is in my opinion the best sounding pair out of the three suggested. Although the Phasier ones sound the best to me, don't expect any of them to provide you the sound quality Sennheiser HD-1 in ear can give you.

u/AngelaZQ · 1 pointr/audiophile

I need some bluetooth earbud recommendations. Ive dug around Amazon and other subreddits for around half an hour and there are just too many options.

I just need a decent budget pair of bluetooth earbuds that has acceptable audio for its price. My budget is <$30. Im only going to be using these for listening to music (Im not an audiophile) and watching Youtube. I currently own a pair of Panasonic ErgoFit In-Ear Earbuds. Ive had them for about a year and they work great. I just get annoyed by all the wire.

So here are some options off Amazon that I'm considering. If you know that any of these are trash, please say so and I will take it off my list.

u/C19-H28-O2 · 1 pointr/steroids

I really like the cheapos I ordered from amazon

Ankers with the little curved tab that keeps them in your ear. I use them for driving and gym time. The battery lasts longer than expected

u/johndisko · 1 pointr/Xiaomi

Honestly it's a great phone, and unless you play super heavy games all the time, Quick Charge 3.0 takes care of your battery anxiety.

I prefer a fast charging battery than a bigger, slower one.
And the processor speed will affect everything all the time.

Multitasking is very smooth in the Mi A2 with 4GB.

People think the Poco F1 is a bargain, but the Mi A2 is the real deal, and is a much more balanced package.

If you still need a headphone jack and a larger battery the A2 Lite is there but you lose speed, camera quality and quick charge, and in my mind these are more important for a phone to keep for the next two or three years.

Just get one of these to take care of your headphone needs and marvel at the wireless glory without spending a fortune.

Hope this helps!

My budget is 30$ and I want something with good sound quality that will last a long time and be extremely comfortable for long sessions. As someone who knows nothing about headphones I figured asking here was a good start. I also hate wires because the headphone gets tugged and misplaced by the wire getting yanked on so I have been looking at bluetooth headphones.

u/aitaix · -1 pointsr/Android

Probably going to get down voted, and told I'm a fucking idiot bla bla bla audiophiles gonna react because their $500 headphones and what not are supreme. But....

I buy cheap [Anker (brand) Bluetooth Ear buds] (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01N6DC2ZE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_o6kWzb17XS9D0) off Amazon because, if I lose them or someone steals them, then oh darn. I only use them at the gym or when I'm hung over and need to fetch my car. Soooo Sound quality isn't a real big deal for me.

u/Dionysiokolax · -3 pointsr/headphones

Anker SoundBuds.

These aren't fancy, but I think they meet my needs at an unbeatable price.

edit: every single person replying has some niche case reason to hate these changes. You're bitching about changes that are meant to improve general consumer electronics. Those products aren't meant for you. If you can't convince yourself to ditch a tape deck, then modern electronics aren't meant for you. You're probably still bitching that you had to ditch dial-up for cable or your rabbit ears for a digital antenna.

u/gbux · -14 pointsr/Android

i know on this sub im gonna get downvoted down to hades for saying this, but why is everyone so bent outta shape about the headphone jack? if they remove it to add something meaningful to the phone is it really that bad? If it's just for aesthetics Im right there with you, but if there is a legit reason for it, why the hate? Besides if it comes with bluetooth 5.0 its gonna be great

Another point too is bluetooth 4.1 headphones arent terrible, and for me the slight decrease in sound quality and having to plug one more device in is more than made up for the fact that my phone isnt constantly tugging my ear buds out of my ears, or the fact that i gotta buy new earbuds every season because they stop working in one or both ears.

On top of that bluetooth headphones have come down in price and have gone up in quality. I bought these a while ago for the same price i was going to buy wired headphones for and theyre fantastic.

edit: a word
