I had this one for awhile it isn't the best but it will certainly work. [Strop] (http://www.amazon.com/Body-Toolz-Horsehide-Leather-Canvas/dp/B0013WAQDU/ref=sr_1_14?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1372483896&sr=1-14&keywords=STROP). If you really are in a jam money wise go for a diy strop not too bad

125 is a bit much. Some people swear by more expensive brands but the reality is if the steel quality/HRC of the blade is high it will hold a razor edge. That being said some manufactures use crap steel that is a bitch to sharpen and won't hold it for long so avoid that when possible. TAOS is kinda pricey but when I was there I got 3 "sample kits" so I can't really bash them and the barber there was amazing he knew so much(I wanted to get a shave there just to talk to the guy).

Don't feel guilty over the "new" razor, embrace it and if you end up using it long enough to not buy cartridges then you will eventually "save" that money. In the end I just called it a hobby and started focusing on enjoying it instead of min/maxing potential savings.
