If you don't need it for a couple days, you could have one delivered to your doorstep.

This is the first time I've needed to do extensive, deep research for a fiction book. So I wanted to do it right.

  • Dedicated binder, with tabs, plus a small blue book exclusively for story outline, questions, other stuff.
  • Bibliography with citations (in a google doc)
  • I try to buy the books I need so that I'm not constantly checking them out at the library and can have them on hand. I need to organize how I keep the scans of the pages, because right now it's a mess

In the future, I'll probably start using index cards to keep track of chronological order.
