In all honesty, pubic hair isn’t meant to be waxed or shaved. It’s also something that is totally natural and normal. Having it doesn’t make you dirty but the porn-filled culture we live in makes us women feel that we have to be dolphins in order to be clean and sexy for men. You can be clean and sexy and attractive without shaving, ripping, or burning your hair off.
That being said, the best way to avoid razor bumps, the pain of waxing, and HS flare ups is to do nothing.
Obviously most women do some kind of grooming, myself included. I would recommend buying an electric razor like this and keeping your hair trimmed instead of completely shaved. You’ll get a close enough shave that you aren’t “hairy” but you’ll be bare enough to not get ingrowns, razor burn, etc.
