I was hesitant to purchase because they all seem to come in a bar soap, but it has a container. You put warm/hot water in for about a minute to soften the soap for better use. If it dries your skin a bit, try using it every other or few days.
I use it about every 2-3 days and have noticed a great improvement within the next 2 days (I've even been putting on makeup now in my breakout zones, and my skin still looks good).

Edit to add: when you are using it there is a bit of a sulfur smell. Once you wash it off it goes away.
