Yes, seriously, it's not a fun stage and it's also a looong stage. If the weather was nicer I'd let my daughter run free in the backyard, which surprisingly, is a lot safer than inside the house.

My nanny also bought my daughter some small soft pony tail holders and simply puts her bangs into a stand up pony tail right in the middle of her head. It's silly but adorable and actually works better than my headband method.
