For pointers, they literally just "point" at that address in memory. The: 1234 cherry st.. That address is actually considered a pointer. I was thinking of getting proficent in C while watching videos on Security Tube to get a better understanding of concepts vague to me. Also, I have a live image of Kali on usb so I could play around with the suite via Metasploitable 2 so that all my experimenting is legal.
If you know of a better way or have anything to add to my game plan let me know!
C Syntax is a real PITA especially if you haven't had prior experience.
