I myself own a Canon Pixma - not the higher end model you have above but I purchased the PIXMA ix6520 about 4 years ago and absolutely love it. Have printed thousands of greeting cards, many full-color photos, plain text documents, stickers, etc. Ink replacement is easy and not costly at all, and it seems to print a lot without overconsuming ink (I purchase non OEM ones off of Amazon Prime for way less than Canon's inks and the quality is just as good). I've had little to almost no problems with streaking - and the couple of times I have it's either due to low ink, or because I just had to manually realign the printer head, which is easy to do in the printer settings. It seems to print well on many types of paper, except semi-glossy or papers meant for laser - tends to get smudgy. But I love using it on vellum, cover, and thicker papers with a little texture.

Super easy to feed paper, has taken up to 120# cover for many greeting cards I've printed, and prints solid colors flawlessly time and time again. Also prints borderless! (so long as it's a regular paper type, if I do something custom and obscure size it sometimes doesn't do borderless). I don't know what the current and/or updated version of this printer is but it's been incredible so far. I would definitely buy a Canon Pixma again in a heartbeat when this one meets its time. I don't think the ix6820 IS the latest version...it seems to be more of the "Business Small Home Office" version rather than for small batch graphic designer but it may have similar quality.
