Kicked out a slow 12 mile run on Saturday! I’m shocked at how fast I recovered from my marathon — after 3 weeks I’m back to 34 mpw. After marathon number one this past March it took me an entire month to feel normal again while dealing with a persistent knee strain and then I had to go through base building all over again, but I feel okay. Like I could even start another marathon cycle. What is this witchcraft?!
I’m aiming for another 35/36 mile week this week before I sit down and figure out what my plans are for a spring marathon.
In non-running things, I’m trying to find a cheap DLSR camera so that I can take the Reddit photography class. I’m thinking of getting the Canon Rebel XTi so I’m going to stop by a local camera shop and see if they have it so I can pick one up and start getting comfortable taking shots.
Well, I dont know your budget but you could get somthing like a Canon XTI with a kit lens for just under 190$ USD https://www.amazon.com/Canon-Rebel-Camera-18-55mm-3-5-5-6/dp/B000I1ZWRC
There are probably compact cameras that handle higher ISO better but this has the options to use different lenses in the future. I will look for compact cameras.
I don't know if you are new to long sexposure photography but keep the 500 rule in mind when shooting stars. 500/focal length=exposure duration. Also if you are dedicated you could do tons of short exposures and stack them in deep sky stacker to get some really nice space images.
