I don't think there's one media property that's driving a Hodgson boost, I think it's part of the ongoing trend where people are becoming aware that classic-yet-obscure writers like Chambers and Hodgson are in the public domain, so there's an uptick in direct-to-ebook and print-on-demand versions of some of their titles - several of Chambers' obscurer novels for example are now on Amazon in new printings.
For Hodgson in particular, I think it's the Carnacki stories more than anything that set him apart as a bit ahead of his time, and of all of his fictional creations its the one that sees the most adoption by new authors - sort of an occult Sherlock Holmes - and yeah, Sam Gafford has edited a new collection of Carnacki adventures too, and I think Simon R. Green has been pushing the "Carnacki Institute" in his books.
