May I ask why brown? it's not the most versatile of colors. If you are shopping based on color you will most likely prefer a quartz watch (that is, battery powered).

Another question: how brown do you want to go? like just the dial, band or the whole watch? What kind of band do you prefer? People with hairy arms often complain about metal bracelets being hair pullers. Others like me can't stand plastic bands. What size or dial style are you looking for?

My advice would be to stick to well known brands like Swatch, Seiko, Citizen or even Casio. Hard to go wrong with any of them.

Some of my personal suggestions (pay attention to the size because some are small):

• This Swatch is quite clean and versatile.
  
  
• A seiko with a brown dial and a perpetual calendar. Initial setup can be bothersome but after that it will have the correct date for as long as the battery lasts. It may be the most useful feature on this list.
  
  
• Dark brown Seiko Chronograph. That style goes well with almost anything.

• Round Guess
  
  
• Citizen Military Style. This one has good reviews on r/watches
  
  
• A more sport and aggresive Citizen chrono. Maybe too far from your budget and not everyone's cup of tea, but it's what I would personally get if I was going for a casual brown watch.
  
  There's an almost infinite variety with Casio. Here are some choices I think are interesting:
  
  
• An interesting design with a mesh band, though I personally find the round black version better looking.
  
  
• Unusual face with gold
  
  
• A very versatile chrono
  
  
• Brown and gold face. No idea about size, unfortunately.
  
  
• Dark brown vintage look. Calendar may be hard to read.
  
  
• A more flashy chrono
  
  
• Brown resin strap. I personally don't like this model, but I am aware the style is trending among the young.
