Yeah same, but it's a habit now so I just plain use a night light all the time. The low light from this works well too if I want to play my 3DS or go on reddit.

Its great because its basically a rubber bouncy ball with a weight at the bottom like a weeble-wobble, i wouldn’t toss it around because it has an exposed to the outside electronics component for charging etc but it really is great.
