Pre: Proraso Pre-Shave Cream
Lather: Declaration Grooming Original

Blade: Lord Platinum Class (1)
Razor: Rockwell 2C Gunmetal (Plate 1/3)
Post: Thayers Alcohol-free Unscented Witch Hazel Toner & Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream
Fragrance: None

The proraso green is really a nice preshave. I like the menthol smell and it feels good against my skin while not feeling like it's gooping things up. I wish I would have gotten the white "sensitive" so it was scent free. While I don't feel like it impacts the scent of my shave soap I just want to focus on that completely.

The Declaration Grooming Original was pretty bad for me. It was sticky like snot and glue. I've been informed I didn't use quite enough water, but at the time it felt like I used a lot. It's a shame because I didn't use any more than when I've used Bon Vivant in the past and that worked fine. It also smelled of patchouli which is not in the scent profile. It's possible my sample was tainted in some way.

Loved my new Rockwell 2C, but unfortunately both sides of the 1/3 plate are too mild for me, which is saying something!
