I’ve tossed everyone of my KVD products or given them to friends who don’t care as much. I have hooded sort of monolids. Oily and really difficult to find things that work.

Clio does both felt and tip. Unfortunately you can't buy the brush tip alone on Amazon :( I don't use the makeup oil it comes with but I buy the pack just for the liner. The felt is like $5 cheaper but I don't prefer it

More than a specific brand, I'd say learning how to properly tightline has helped me the most. You don't want the liner to be over your lashes or on your waterline (more likely to cause smudging). The liner needs to be placed on the root of your lashes. Practice makes perfect!

If you're a fan of pencil, Rimmel Scandal Eyes is a popular choice.

Gel? Maybelline Eye Studio or Wet n Wild Mega Eyes.

I, personally, have yet to find a pencil or gel that didn't smudge on me (regardless of price), so I prefer liquid. Physician's Formula is a good drugstore option. I also love love LOVE Asian liners like Clio, Dolly Wink, and Kiss Me Heroine.

I love the Clio liner as well! Amazon usually has them for around $14, sometimes with Prime shipping (here is one with Prime for $15.50), but some listings do ship from Asia and take about 3 weeks to arrive.

The one thing i have had for years is the KAI plastic eyelash curler. i buy 2 or 3 when i go to korea (about $8 USD) but i believe there is a japonesque one that you can find on amazon or at ulta (KAI one looks like this: https://www.amazon.com/Kai-Eyelash-Curler-Portable-Japan/dp/B005DFHK78). it takes a little bit of a learning curve i think and i use it along the outer and then inner half of my lashes, get really close to the roots and clamp a few times to get the middle and ends of the lashes as well for a natural look. It is very effective so you can get a 90 degree angled lash curl if you don't do what i just described.
I have straight asian lashes that are on the longer side and mascara without curling is basically useless. I also only use mascara that does not undo my curling (anything watery). I used to like the "tubing" type of mascara that can be removed only with warm water (nyx doll eyes long lashes) but now i use a cleansing oil every night so it doesnt matter as much. i just hate using eye make up remover separately and rubbing my eyes to get stubborn waterproof mascara off. now i use loreal voluminous million lash mascara which holds my curls.

For eyeliner, i have tried so many...and i like afforable makeup. I hate tugging, difficult-to-remove products, and smudging(!!) throughout the day. the best i have found is the CLIO waterproof brush eyeliner in Kill black (https://www.amazon.com/Clio-Waterproof-Brush-Makeup-Cleansing/dp/B00RDRT41O). better than stila's IMO. I do have to apply a second coat after it dries but it takes one second.

Lastly, the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder Highlight 01 is quickly becoming my favorite highlighter. it is beautiful, not too in-your-face, but still obvious ;)
