I'd readily buy it if it weren't tainted by bootlegging. Seeing her listed on many storefronts across several sites among numerous bootlegs from Cuddly Octopus and others keeps me from giving to those numerous faces belonging to a single mass of bootleggery.

I can't say I really care much about what bootlegging does to other's business, more that I like throwing my money at people who care about their craft. Bootlegging is lifeless work. Much of dakimakura is art by fans who draw by their styles that change and improve. Doesn't always appeal to me but when it does, gotta buy till the wallet's dry! Most Chinese sellers like these churn out daki based on what's hype in the moment. To me, the art looks stale, selling by broad appeal.

Anyways, that's me and you do you, of course. I still love that Bowsette daki, the pierced tits especially.

If you don't already have a decent daki inner, I recommend COMODO just because they're conveniently on Amazon while the DHR and others are incredibly marked up. There's the 160cm CMD9000 and CMD9900LS and the 150cm CMD9150 and CMD9950MS. Great entry for higher class Japanese inners, much better than standard maternity pillows and generic Chinese inners. Prices fluctuate of course, with my CMD9900LS at 80 USD and I've seen it gone lower.

It sure looks legit. My understanding is that this is closer to the dhr 7000 than 6000, and the price is fantastic. Now that I have a few covers it wouldn’t be so bad to have two pillows...

Look at the following:

  These sites have the "real" daki's with an english interface. They are printed on chinese 2WT so they will be the cheapest options you have avaliable. I only recommend Japanese pillows which are not cheap by any means, this guide goes over different pillows on the market but if you are looking for a cheap option you would want to go with either this or go with a DIY solution using something like this.
  
  You need to keep in mind that this is a Japanese niche hobby and so you don't have an abundance of english sites. It also does not function the same way you might be used to in terms of avaliability for most Japanese covers as they are usually one print run and done.
  
  Also, in this context terms like cheap are relative and therefore useless because to one person $20 is cheap where as for another $200 is. If you have a budget, post it so that we can actually get an idea of what you can afford to get. Lurk for 2 years before posting.

So first off, I have several questions. I'm very new to this so I have no idea where to start. There's really only two covers I want to get: Saber Alter and Rin Tohsaka from Fate. I would love to find a nice Mordred cover, but I haven't found any that I like. I also know that that's how this starts and will likely buy more in the future. "I only want this or that and won't buy another". Damn myself for being such a materialist!

Anyways, I really like this one simply because it lines up with UFOtables look for Saber, (https://peroperopiroo.moe/shop/saber_alter_dogfucker.html) though I don't know which option to pick for the material. Is Chinese 2wt good to go with or should I upgrade? I will def. be going for the "family friendly" version.

They seem to be quite rare sadly, which is a shame as this artist is the only one I've seen do a Tohsaka design that I really like. All the others make her look way too young or don't get the style just right for my tastes. So any suggestions on finding this one would be greatly appreciated. For the inner pillow, should I just go with my gut and get one from Dakimakuri or should I go with this? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DFJWW86/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=A1WC95IIGIP2OA&psc=1 The reviews make me not want to buy it, but I saw that one user posted a fix to the slipping covers by placing an extra cover underneath the main one. I'm thinking the Dakimakuri, though there's no reviews for their inner pillows yet...

   Does anyone have any recommendations among the 3? Especially as something starting off, the DHR6000 at $170 feels pretty steep. I was thinking of starting off with a mid-range pillow and upgrading eventually if I felt like it. Any comments is greatly appreciated!

   First, is there any difference in these two that makes one $10 more? Second, does anyone know how these compare to something like a DHR6000 or one of the inners that are often recommended?

Now, what difference between CMD9900LS and AJ DHR6000? I been snooping around this r/ and I see comments about the new DHR is no longer Japanese cottons and it oversea ones, is it worth buying it as suppose to CMD9900?
And lastly, I own a CMD9150, how do I re-fluff the mid-section of the pillow?
