I use Corsair Vengeance MM600 Dual-Sided Gaming Mouse Mat Coarse side. Smooth side is like trying to stand still on ice. it's like playing ice hockey with your mouse. Not recommended.

No problem, just thought to highlight another area of pads that you might not have known much about.

I haven't used a lot of pads since restarting PC gaming a few months back (after nearly ten+ years on hiatus), but my previous, and free, Razer Goliathus Speed (small) was ok for my Logitech G900.
I was going to go for the dual sided Corsair MM600 originally, but after purchasing my Corsair K95 v3 Cherry MX Brown keyboard (CH-9000221-UK), the MM800 was a no-branier when both board and pad can link up RGB wise.

A lot of good reviews can be heard about the Japanese company Artisan and their pads, especially Hayate and Hayaste Otsu, though they have ranges too, however these can also be expensive.

I would vote for the aluminium Corsair MM600 with dual sides; one side is technically better than the hard plastic surface of my MM800, but is far more performance based. As it is aluminium, there is a higher chance of wear and tear on mouse feet, but all hard mousepads have this issue, metal ones are worse in general.
The MM600 is near unbendable, super durable, and bespoke, but not that expensive.

Edit: here is a link to Corsair MM600 at £22.95 (originally £39.99); pretty good deal for two alternative hard surfaces!
