I'd say so. My skin is really oily too, and unless it's an unbearably hot day, just powder is fine for me. I don't like anything too heavy on my skin anyways. I feel like it makes me look like a cake face.

This pack is basically what I use. I'd do the middle color on the whole lid, and then do a small swipe of the darkest in the corner of my lids. And for eye liner, it takes some getting used too, but you'll get there. Ive used this and it works really well and is a little more smooth than pencils. I close my one eye, and pull my lid as tight as I can when Im putting on liner. And having a mirror where you can get your face close to it is helpful too. You can see what you're doing better.
