Do not buy another model unless you want to literally set your money on fire. Its what I have, its held up great, and is rock solid. Crane makes another model with a slightly narrower base, but this model is superior. There are lots of completely garbage laptop stands out there, that will break within a year, or be super rickety, or both. But remember you're setting your (potentially) multi-thousand dollar laptop on top of it.
One of the production companies I work with uses the Hercules laptop stands, and they're ok too, very well made. Just slightly more of a pain to set up than the one I have.
