You can apply the sticky side to vinyl paper. Essentially it works like a vacuum and will stick to your glass. Leaves zero residue, easy to take on and off. No fuss, no muss. I’m in SF too and we are required to have it in the front and back. I did it for both Lyft and Uber decals. The plus is I dont have to be worried about it not being official decals. It’s a great alternative.
I’ve had my decals for close to two years with no problems. Only had to reapply it once, and that’s only because Uber changed logos from the black square and white U to its current format.
