I have this one. It’s in my garage for the same size iPad. It works great, is solid/heavy, and easily adjustable. I recommend it.

I think you could do the same thing with a music stand. You just need to make sure the part you’re clamping on to is thick enough for your clamp.
I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for anything with a straight arm leading up to it.

I have one to my left of this exact model that I use with my iPad to play the tracks I’m playing along to and it works perfectly.
It's a tablet FLOOR stand. I put it on the floor in front of my bike and it has a flexible neck that I bend over the wheel to be closer to my face.
