They make cord covers like this that you can put down by the trim & either leave white to match the trim or paint beige to match the wall.

Congratulations!

In case you need any tips as a new bunny parent take a look at the little guide on care I assembled below https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Z_IvDuy5Fr-VOKwBVBSmZih0m1ATCIquIMhYyFl4aIw . I really tried to include all the info a new bunny parent might want into this guide...

For wires

  1. Wire protectors that work well - these are quite chew proof and you just hide you cables inside - it makes things look nice and neat actually and you won't have another wire chewed.
  2. Also something like this is great if you can make it work in the space config you have... like along the baseboard or floor - I used these to hide my cords and make everything neat before a bun was ever in the picture even
  3. I have also seen people slit open a heavy duty garden hose and put the wires inside - works well

Watch a few videos below for some more great tips - they are short and have good ideas for you

If you wanted to secure the whole area than buying a metal xpen and setting up as a barrier would be a good option.

Looks great!

Since you asked for feedback (good man soliciting it BTW), I would get some cable raceways for the TV the hide those cables, perhaps toe in the fronts ever so slightly, if you have wiggle room on the bracket, drop the TV a few inches, then get some velcro zip ties for the cables to the right of the entertainment center to tidy that up.

EDIT Oh, one more thing, if you can, see if you can figure out a way to drop the DTV box and Xbox into the cabinet below and move the turntable over to the right side so you give your AVR room to breathe.

They have that cable raceway stuff that sticks to the wall and you can run cables through. It certainly looks better than a bunch of blue cables everywhere.

Do be careful though, some of these have glue on the back that's strong enough to pull your paint off the walls when you try to remove it... use a heat gun or some goo gone or something to soften that first.

For going through doorways, if you have carpet, just pull it up a bit and cram cables under and around. If you don't have carpet, use a small drill to put a hole between the two rooms and a tiny bit of some kind of sealant to make it pretty. When you move out, pull the cable out and patch the hole.

A few have said it; but you can get wall cable runs that allow you to paint them or match to current wall color with standard colors. Amazon; D-Line Cable Raceway

There are various kinds too; cable raceway would be a key word to use.

They have these things that just stick to your wall to hide cables. I use them for everything.

We use it too and are happy with it. The monitor can be set to switch between the cameras (up to 4).
When ours moved to their own room, we mounted the two cameras to the wall, one facing down into each crib. The cables are covered with something like this https://www.amazon.com/D-Line-Raceway-1D3015W-Electrical-Paintable/dp/B077YD9DG6

BTW if you do buy it and the battery seems to stop holding a charge, just take it out for 20-30 minutes and put it back. Usually that fixes it.

You're right i'm waaaaaay off my estimated price, it's about half the price i thought it would be.

I'm sorry dude I just gave my opinion on how to easily improve the aesthetic of your setup but you clearly don't really care about it, then again why post on this sub reddit then ?

u/Blu3Skies · 2 pointsr/AmateurRoomPorn

Loving the clean aesthetic! If cables bother you check these guys out. Super helpful if you aren't able to run any sort of cabling through walls.

I also live in a small room so I know the struggle. If you can get a couple easy install shelves on each side of the jersey and put your trophies on there it would look really nice and free up bunch of space from the cabinet (which is definitely too big for that room), you'd be able to move your couch all the way over.

Also couple cable runners for the TV and maybe the LEDS. Also maybe an area rug (got mine for $20 at Walmart) Bam 5x better than most college dorms!

Edit: Didn't notice the door there at first so you wont be able to push the couch over anyways.. Hmm, maybe consider putting the bed in-front of the window instead (fame looks quite girthy though!) And put the couch where the bed is now? Would be some work and the TV wouldn't be in-front of the bed (unless you moved it to the door wall) but I feel like that would be the most open layout if that's your thing.

u/dospaquetes · 1 pointr/simracing

Dude Hide your TV cables, it would make your setup so much classier

u/retroflex101 · 1 pointr/MagicMirror

You can put the cables in something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/D-Line-Raceway-1D3015W-Electrical-Paintable/dp/B077YD9DG6

Or if you never plan on moving it, have an electrician install a socket behind the mirror. Or recess the entire frame into the wall :)
