You mean regular cable I hope, not flexible cord?

Yes, I'd find an old work box shallow enough to fit in your wall and put a single outlet in that. Watch out for the cubic inches.

Keep the box towards the side of the TV so you get space for the plug. You can run the cable from the TV out to it. Look around for one of those flat plugs that only sticks out from the wall a little or use the spacers for more room.

Nope. They exist, but I can't see that being to code anywhere.

I'd run rated cable (BX?) to the nearest outlet and connect in there with wire nuts. It can't be more than 6 feet away.

As for your AV cables, I try to use these if I can.
