Lamp over a bucket of water works great. They just fly in. I put in some extra olive oil and soap to make sure they stay in there.

I had the magnifying glasses headset when I first started out but I didn't continue with it. It would strain my eyes and hurt my head as i would have to tighten it quite a bit to keep it on my head successfully. I have another friend who loves it. It's up to you but I personally couldn't use it. I use this hobby light most of the time.

I also use a magnifying light very similar to this one if I really need to get up close and personal or if the shadows cast off of the other light bother me.
