I used to have the book this photo came from. This is nothing compared to some of the other stuff in there. http://www.amazon.com/Death-Scenes-Homicide-Detectives-Scrapbook/dp/0922915296

I like seeing photos like this. It’s interesting what you can notice.. too bad the r/crimescenephotos is basically a dead sub.

There is a book that came out I noticed at borders books like 15 years ago I wanted to buy, I found it on amazon Death Scenes: A Homicide Detectives Scrapbook

It’s sort of a fascination, like serial killers want to know what goes through their mind, etc.

Here's a book of crime scene photos from the 1920's to the 1950's, not a bad read but some of the pictures are very graphic.

I'll rephrase: their generation as a culture did not have tattoos with the same prevalence as people in our era.

I phrased it poorly.

In fact I was just just looking at old-ass tattoos of some dude who was arrested in Hank's time in that book Death Scene's- A homicide detective's scrapbook. The whole thing is pictures he collected of gore, crime scenes, criminals, etc.
