Tried my luck in r/monitors but to no avail, not sure which one to go with for a 4K monitor.

I have an XB1X but haven’t upgraded to a 4K Monitor yet.

I’ve found a few and would love some advice!

Basically just looking for a simple 4K 27-32” monitor, not too strict on all the other fancy stuff that jacks up the prices!

At this price you can get 4k IPS panels from other manufacturers, not sure this is exactly a great buy, even if Dell does have good quality TN panels.

Cheaper than Amazon has ever stocked it by $40 though so I guess it's a "good" price, but I would definitely recommend IPS over TN for 4k as you're going for optimal picture quality.

Dell sell a reasonably decent 4K monitor for $267

https://www.amazon.com/Dell-S2817Q-Screen-LCD-Monitor/dp/B01BBOC16O/

It's a TN panel so fine for gaming but limited to narrow viewing angles (dead center your fine), it also has built in speakers. No other fancy extras.

"buydigs" doesn't sell anything
"buydig" however does

If you're refering to this $200 monitor, a few thousands have been sold not a few hundreds. Everything looks legit but if you're not convinced, the same monitor is available on amazon for $270.

If you are planning to stick on the AMD side, get a Radeon RX 480

Now if you want a GTX card go with the 1060

Those will both allow 4K gaming while not making your CPU that much of a bottle neck.

Need a 4K monitor? I have this one and couldn't be happier with it!

Hey guys, so I've decided to get innto the 4K world. I need help about the 4k monitors. Unfortunately I don' live in USA or any other country that has a lot of options to choose from, and importing is a no go. So these are the ones that fits in my budget and I can find it where I live:

Main focus is gaming, a little on my PC (it can run some games in 4K) and mainly on my ps4 pro. Thank you.

PS: I know that some people will say that 27" is too small for 4K, but I'm convinced in getting one nevertheless, so please help me

I also have my 2009 macbook. Upgraded it to El Capitan a couple years ago and haven't been able to upgrade it since. I try to upgrade my computer every 5 years or so, this way I'm never excluded from being able to do anything and all my software is current and running at a reasonable speed.

You can find a 4k monitor for as little as $300 right now which would make it cheaper than an iMac.

Dell S2817Q for a cheaper TN monitor with low response time.
