My experience comes from motorbiking, where I often have a whole lot of soggy (on the outside, hopefully) gear to dry overnight - so this might be overkill for a pair of gloves.

I have a small space under my stairs, with a door. I have a small dehumidifier in there, I hang the gear on a rail, shut the door and leave the dehum running overnight.

It will take about 1l of water out of the gear, and leave it nice and dry. I prefer this way, as it is less aggressive than heating the stuff, which I suspect could eventually damage the Goretex lining.

Apart from drying your clothes out of the house or getting a tumble dryer and venting it out a window, you'll need a dehumidifier.

This one has done me well for the last 5 years and I would not call it expensive to run, yes it will cost more but it will also cost you time and money to clean mold from your walls, ceiling, windows and god knows what that does to your health, both the mold and the spray :P
