YASS is a great storage solution if you want something inexpensive - but if you are in North America, there are much cheaper places than Amazon to get the boxes. Check this recent post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Gloomhaven/comments/catfwd/yass_question/etd6rqh?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x

Also, an accordion folder for storing the tiles can be nice.

For sleeves, I ended up getting:

- these sleeves for the mini cards (boatloads more sleeves than I'll ever use for Gloomhaven) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075V37LFS/ and I've been quite happy with them.

- Fantasy Flight sleeves for the larger size cards ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WA1S61M/ )

I'd recommend playing without sleeves for a few scenarios just to make sure you guys will actually enjoy and play the game regularly. It would be a shame to blow $20 on sleeves for a game you never play.

I'll second what u/mhledwards recommends above - except I already had some standard card sleeves ahead of time, so I went with this smaller order of the Dephia sleeves for the minis. They're great, (nice and grippy), and I'll definitely be purchasing more for future games.

I just went with these sleeves from Amazon for the mini Euro cards. For that price I figured they'd be worth trying. They fit pretty snug but overall a great buy.

For standard cards I plan on sleeving everything as I play. I was going to only sleeve character cards as I played them and then like 100 for city/road cards in play but didn't want to bother with taking cards out of sleeves. I think you need 470770 for standard size (check BGG for sleeving guide) but I bought 1k earlier this year for Gloomhaven and Arkham Horror LCG
