I've started using the seche vite in the blue bottle(it's one that you don't have to apply while the polish is still wet so it's easier to deal with, imo) but I have noticed that it can't be so thick that it can cause these weird ridges at the tip of my nail sometimes. I put a few drops of the Orly nail polish thinner in the bottle and it seemed to help but some people say that can ruin the polish eventually.

And unfortunately I have had air bubbles with the seche vite - but literally only once or twice in like 30 or 40 uses (I redo my nails a lot to keep practicing ๐Ÿ˜Š) so it's definitely not a common occurrence or problem for me with it.

BUT

The top coat I found that I actually really love is called Diamond Dry. I got it from sally's as part of a deal where I bought 2 bottles of China Glaze and got the top coat for free. It goes on thick, but not too thick, and makes my polish last just as well as seche vite. It just feels way easier to work with than the seche vite to me. That's just my opinion though, ymmv.

Here is the Amazon link for diamond dry - (but it's def cheaper at sally's and they often have sales where you can get it for free if you buy 2 polishes, just wanted you to be able to see what it looks like)

Good luck! Both top coats are great and really changed my nail painting life! Let me know how it goes!

Quick edit: I've tried the Essie top coat too. I like how it goes on, so that one isn't too bad (I don't remember if it bubbled too much) but I can say these 2 have definitely kept my nails from chipping wayyyyy longer than any other top coat I tried. Sorry for the wall of text!
