/u/wintergone thanks for using the term A6, that alone reminded me that I could take a standard sheet of paper and refold it to get an idea of size - it is weird how are brains work. And from there try out some weekly and monthly spreads. I'm fine with barebones - frankly about all my brain can handle these days :)

I ordered these 3.5 x 5.5 Memo Book - I'll see how it goes.

+1 for Rhodia. I also EDC one of these boys in one of the little covers on the same page, and they work just as well with my fountain pen as a Rhodia book. Paper's not quite as smooth, but still perfectly acceptable.
