No, it's only 480p and has a low contrast ratio. If you can spend a little bit more then I'd recommend checking out the a refurbished LG PH300 (Amazon) or EBay. it's 720p HD, much better contrast ratio, very small size.

Just so you know, this is an LED projector that's based off off shooting/emitting light. It's not as bright as some 'bulb' based projectors but it is rated for 30K hours so it should last for a long time. This projector is meant for dim / dark rooms but should still work outside ok as long as there isn't much light.

EDIT: I've never heard of Crenova but it's probably some chinese brand. Many of the projectors out there are just copycats of one another. Using the same designs with different labels or owned by the same company and just putting junk out there. Here are some quick examples, look at the basic 'stock images' the show kids watching TV, showing comparison pictures, etc! Don't pay attention to anything but the native resolution because that's what you're getting.

Tronify vs LDDirect 'Junpro' vs Random Chinese eBay Projector vs Syhonic

Quality Projector manufacturers are Optoma, Epson, BenQ, LG, Viewsonic, Sony (Expensive).

Love it! If you don't already have a little projector to marry up with it, I can highly reccomend this little guy: link

And I got a cheap Pelican knockoff case for it off monoprice.

What I think you need is this [projector] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZOI31K4/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_ecnRwb6BHWGJP) so you can watch monster trucks on a giant projection screen whenever you want. It will also be perfect for a movie night with the little people watching your favorite movie on a 130 inch screen.

Damn, this is exactly what I was looking for.

I'm in southwest so, I have those pesky brick walls. I figured I was going to need to duct tape a sheet to the wall or build a frame with PVC.

I'm assuming a throw of about 2 meters is what I should be looking for? I've been looking at this one.

I think I'm going to build a platform that the projector will rest on before I move back in the winter to solve that problem. Just a simple table.

My only other concern is the speaker set up. Can I just use my current Logitech computer speakers and put it underneath the screen? Is that how you have it set up?

The native resolution is low even for the price. Nearly the same spec projector can be found at [$80 outright on Amazon] (https://www.amazon.com/International-Warranty-Entertainment-Multimedia-Projector/dp/B00ZOI31K4/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1467793519&sr=1-2) just no Android functions on that one. They're even cheaper imported.
