I purchased the Elecjet magnetic adapter that looks exactly the same. This one doesn't work either. So don't bother with this brand either. My experience is the same. Link works perfectly fine when plugged into the cable. When I use the adapter, some times link works for a few minutes, and other times Link won't connect at all.

Thanks for the advice. However, Location Services is always off, and I even turn off the phone portion of the bluetooth headphones and use just media sound, and I still get the same issues. I'm running Android Oreo, by the way.

HOWEVER, I did find a solution on how to use WIRED headphones and still use magnetic charging without having to constantly plug and unplug the USB-C charging cable/headphones! Checkout this link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07N4G1ZG6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1

It is a magnetic adapter that plugs into your phone's USB-C port, and the other end is placed on a USB-C cable. I tried putting it on the end of my WIRED headphones USB-C plug, and the headphones actually work when connected to the phone magnetically! The part that goes into the phone is a bit bigger than most magnetic ports for phones (I had to make the hole bigger on my silicone case, I ordered a new case that can accommodate the port), but it is also the ONLY magnetic port that I've found that actually supports audio for the headphones! It is a bit expensive, though.

Grabbed one just now, works great: https://www.amazon.ca/ELECJET-MagJet-Magnetic-Charging-Connection/dp/B07N4G1ZG6

Magnetic hold is decent, though I would probably tie the cable onto the headstrap or something to play it safe, as it isn't hard to pull out due to physics. The further away you pull the cable from, the easier it is to overcome the magnet.
