Agree with the others, front close is best. There was no way I could have done over the head (because even the thought of "dragging" or stretching anything over my boobs after surgery makes me cringe), or fasten in the back. These were my faves:

I removed the pads from the sports bra ones. I continued to use them long after surgery as regular sports bras.
