Both the 2012 Minis and the 2010 Mini are completely headless. Unfortunately, this means that accessing them via remote desktop gives you a measly 800x600 resolution. I use this handy little gadget on both of them to replicate a 1920x1080 display being connected. So, when I connect via Screen Sharing I get a nice big display.

If I remember correctly TB said that the "gaming" chairs are mostly shot for your back.
During one podcast he mentioned that Genna got him Ergohuman chair. (this one I think: https://www.amazon.com/Ergohuman-Swivel-Chair-Headrest-Chrome/dp/B002LK1YNO ) but they are expensive . Dogger and Strippin got the same ones.

u/DheeradjS · 4 pointsr/cynicalbritofficial

Herman Miller? They are expensive chairs though.

Or it might have been an Ergohuman

u/Scardaddy · 3 pointsr/buildapc

Had it for over two years, I sit in it 12+ hours a day. By far the best investment for my back and health. Previous chairs I have owned either broke or hurt my back or neck from the seating position. This is as good as a $1500 chair... Good luck OP https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002LK1YNO/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

u/x3lr4 · 2 pointsr/buildapc

There's only one chair of the "ergonomic class" that is affordable and much cheaper than all the other insanely expensive chairs and that's the Ergohuman.

I've spent a lot of money on different chairs and a lot of time on research and at some point I was ready to spend thousands of dollars on a Herman Miller Aeron, which is probably the best chair in the world. But what really nagged at me is that it didn't come with a head support. There are aftermarket head supports for it, but, well ....

And then the Ergohuman was on sale on Amazon on Black Friday for just 350 €, so I just got it, because that's insanely cheap for an ergonomic chair. Even at its regular price of 570 € it's a steal. Of course the quality isn't anywhere near the Heman Miller and it has its flaws, but my back pains are gone.

Now after 3 years of usage, I'm oiling and adjusting it, to keep it going well. It makes that strange click sound when I lean back, but other than that it's still standing strong.

There's nothing, and I repeat nothing, in this price range that can even compare. So if you're on a budget, you don't need to look any further.

Raynor Ergohuman, 600$
(totally worth it, especially during 50% sales)

u/merica_f_yeah · 1 pointr/cscareerquestions

I've been using this one for 3 years. I've done 12 hours days in this thing with no problems.

u/lukerobi · 1 pointr/buildapc

There is no such things as a good $100 chair. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002LK1YNO/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This is the only chair I buy anymore.. I bought 1 a few years ago, and now this is the only chair I buy for the office guys too. It is amazing and it has a life time warranty (which I have easily taken advantage of on some of the chairs i have purchased).

Don't be cheap on a chair.. your back will thank you.

u/RotonSan · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

That’s nice but get a good one. After all it’s your birthday and comes after one long year. If you had not budget limitation I would recommend Ergohuman ME7ERG-W09-01W09-01 Black Mesh Hi Swivel chair from [Amazon] (http://www.amazon.com/Ergohuman-ME7ERG-W09-01W09-01-Black-Swivel-chair/dp/B002LK1YNO). Since you’re not looking for a long term investment, you can find a decent from [here] (http://www.artistsupplysource.com/category/50260/furniture-for-artists/?page=2). Just make sure you can sit in it all the way back, with your lower back fully supported.

u/BiscuitKnees · 1 pointr/BuyItForLife

I have had an ErgoHuman ME7ERG since 2007 and it's still going strong today. Love, love, love this chair:

http://www.amazon.com/Ergohuman-ME7ERG-W09-01W09-01-Black-Swivel-chair/dp/B002LK1YNO

Purchased for around USD $500 back then; they're a little more today.

u/MorRochben · 1 pointr/cynicalbritofficial

I don't think at all that a 600$ chair is that expensive for a chair. Just think about how many hours you'll be using that thing. If you work from home it's completely worth it.

If we where to only use it one year and only when on working time with a regular 40hour work week you'd get: 52 * 40 = 14600 hours. 624$(the chair TB recomended) / 14600 is just a 4.2 cents per hour of use for good support and personal health while in that same time making a bit more money than you spend.

u/SuperObviousShill · 1 pointr/guns

> Herman Miller Aerons

Not really what I am looking for, nor do I think its what iggins is looking for. We're looking for something like this where you can fully lean back your head, while still being in a position to see and work.

u/thanos023 · 1 pointr/sysadmin

This bad mama-jama right here. Best piece of furniture I've ever had the pleasure of sitting on.

u/TheDrov · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

I decided to go with this for my current setup - ErgoHuman Chair.

It is amazing!

u/th12eat · 1 pointr/buildapc

I spent $700 on my Ergonomic chair. I am a Software Engineer and gamer. The majority of my day is in it. My Wife was so freakin' mad... until she sat in it. I have the Ergohuman High Back Swivel Chair with Headrest, Black Mesh & Chrome Base off Amazon. Highly recommend based on your requests. Obviously above your max, but, it's not terribly so, if you think you can justify it.

u/VergingRivals · 1 pointr/battlestations

I've had some old injuries in lower back, and never really invested too much into chairs until this. Changed my life tbh.

u/skyrocketing · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

I've heard very good things about this chair: https://www.amazon.com/Ergohuman-Swivel-Chair-Headrest-Chrome/dp/B002LK1YNO/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

A little over budget but worth looking into.
