I've found a lot of US green primers don't do much, especially the Smashbox, but I love Etude House's Mint Baby Choux. It's much higher in coverage!

For a cheaper option that I personally like the texture of a little more, you can try Etude House's Mint Choux Base :) I LOVE what it does for my skin.

(Multiple sellers, of course-- that's the general product though.)
imo it's a little lighter green than the Smashbox primer, so you gotta see what works best for your complexion :)

Whatever you use though, green primer is definitely a great idea for red skin!! I started using some back in May and now it's a permanent part of my daily routine.

I use the [Etude House Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base in Mint Choux] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DQGUTE2/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) as a base and LOVE it for reducing redness all over when I have too many spots to feel like covering each individually with concealer. But it definitely gives you white cast/makes you look like a zombie, so it can't be used on its own, needs a cushion or something over it.

I don't know if you consider it a primer or skincare (guess it's both) but the ~$25 I spent on Dr+ Jart Cicapair is LITERALLY THE BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT ON MA SKIN.

If you have any redness, put down that EH Sweet Baby Choux in Mint, even tho it's still the next best thing you've found, and toss out your crappy Smashbox or whatever other green primer you're using, and get this.

It's a pale gray-green that blends into skin like a thick cream (but with a nice mousse-like consistency, not oily) and (unlike the EH) can't be detected--even if you use it as a spot treatment w/o foundation or BB. And while I haven't subjected it to extreme cold, etc., even with my relatively mild rosacea/sensitivity/whatever it is around the nose, it continues to work all day.

You can read the hype in any number of magazines, blogs, etc.; I'm just glad I believed it. And save your money! It's about $50 at Sephora, but you can get it from eBay for less than $30, or even cheaper on Sweet Corea's regular site (altho shipping gets pricey with them).

Green makeup bases can help a lot if you have large red areas. Here's a nice one from Etude House, and here's even a newer travel-friendly product of the same idea. I would focus on red-cancelling primers and bases before I turned to concealer or eyeshadow, especially for your cheeks.

These are just the products I have experience with, but I know for a fact there are quite a few products out there that could help you out. I hope you find one that works for you!
