Everlast PIVT Low Top Boxing Shoes

Wanted a boxing shoe and not a boot as I have very good ankles and don't need the support that had a wide enough sole to prevent the sides of my feet from hugging the bottom of my sole, so I decided to try these a size up to compensate for my wide feet. At first I was concerned because from the pictures they seem to have a bit of cushion and aren't as low to the ground as other boxing shoes, but after getting them that's seems only half true. The ball part of your foot area is very thin and gives you a very good feel of the ground for pivoting and pushing off while the heel is definitely nicely cushioned for when planting your feet flat. I have awkward wide feet with a lower arches and these shoes broke in very quickly and cover the bottom of my feet very well compared to previous shoes I had (Reebok's that were recommended for wide feet) the sides of my feet would roll off the side of the sole and would feel less than comfortable and strange when pivoting. I have only worn these for a month so far (4-6 hours a week) and I'm already more than happy enough to buy another pair if they can last me half a year compared to my last pair that lasted me around 3 months (Reebok's soles are not very durable if you're my weight I guess). They can also accommodate custom insoles very easily if you require those, or use the very thin ones they have out of the box for a semi barefoot feel when on the balls of your feet.
