I wrote a book too. Unfortunately nobody bought it but it's still nice to have written one. Best of luck to your dad- it can be a frustrating but ultimately feel-good endeavour.

You should definitely try to ask him about it from time to time. Nobody really took an interest in mine, which was a bit of a downer.
