Okay, I got you, fam: the Finishing Touch Flawless is what you need! (Non-AB, sorry)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071KW9GTT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_1-VhAbQKJRBPP

I was like you, plucking every freaking hair, occasionally using a depilatory cream or waxing, both of which irritated the heck out of my sensitive skin. Then I saw this cheesy as-seen-on-tv device on Amazon with all these crazy amazing reviews. Since it's been out a while, I noticed there are more negative reviews now, but I still think it is a gamechanger. It has a teeny tiny rotating razor of some sort, and it shaves superclose. I know shaving doesn't sound that revolutionary (and the description of the device never used the word shave) but it somehow makes the hair grow back slower and a little softer! It doesn't make any sense, but it's amazing. No pain whatsoever! And, it's the size of a fat mascara tube so you can keep it in your makeup bag for quick touchups. Note that it doesn't work on coarse hair like underarms, but regular shaving is much faster for that anyways. With this thing, you have to move in a circular, overlapping motion to get all the hairs, but only takes a minute or two to do my lip.

Sorry if I sound like a shill, but I just love this thing! It's made my life so much easier.

Edit: I forgot to mention, when I grabbed the Amazon link earlier, it looks like they're releasing a newer model in a few weeks, and the old one is unavailable. I have no idea what they're changing, but obviously mine was just fine. If you're in the US, I've seen them at CVS and Walmart in the shaving section.

I know exactly how you feel! I'm sorry you are going through this <3
I just found this sub, my son and I are both dealing with issues.
I'm obsessed with tweezing my facial hairs, but I try to keep them plucked anyway to stop myself from using my fingernails, especially around friends and family. I've been trying wax and I also bought a finishing touch brow pen, although I use it on chin and neck area mostly. I'm not sure if that's something you've tried or whether it would help but I will link to it. Also, I know it can really negatively affect your self esteem but just remember you are still beautiful and strong and this doesn't define you! Good luck!

I used to use depilatories, but now I use this It’s like an epilator but it doesn’t hurt at all! It literally feels like nothing and leaves my skin smooth

Yo I use the Flawless hair remover by Finishing Touch & it's great! It's an electric hair remover. I've never had any issues with it. I use it on my lip, unibrow area, etc. I use it every day & I love it.

Perfect for top lips. As others have said hair will not grow back black & thick unless it was like that before you shaved. It may feel thicker but that's because you've cut it back across the widest part of the hair follicle. It will soften & go pointy again as it grows out.

I do!! And I get embarrassed by it too!!! I use Finishing Touch Flawless Women's Painless Hair Remover and it’s amazing!!! It doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and it removes hair amazingly! I know using normal razors are bad for your skin especially your face as the skin is more delicate there. And this product is definitely worth it!!’ (The link to the product —>https://www.amazon.com/Finishing-Touch-Flawless-Painless-Remover/dp/B071KW9GTT)

to be clear, this is not a plug: I came across an add for [this] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071KW9GTT/) a few weeks ago and decided what the hell, it's only 20 bucks.

It. Is. Amazing. You barely feel anything, it just vibrates pleasantly and boom, all the hair's gone. I'm always worried about hair growing back rough and this worked so wonderfully that i've ever started using it on peach fuzz on my sideburns and stuff. The fact that it looks like a cute little lipstick container is a huge bonus.

New Purchases:

  • Timeless Hyaluronic + Vitamin C Serum - this has hyaluronic acid, glycerin, MAP, and peptides. Tried this yesterday and this morning, hope it works out.
  • Finishing Touch Flawless Hair Remover - This is a little rotary razor thing for getting rid of facial hair. I have really reactive and sensitive skin, and haven't gotten irritation from this since I used it yesterday. I'll have to see how the regrowth is. I have very fine, light facial hair, and I did have to go over spots multiple times but it was effective.
  • Dr. Dennis Gross Sheer Mineral Sun Spray SPF 50 - I ordered this with my 15% coupon from Sephora, haven't received it yet.

Repurchases (with my Ulta platinum coupon):

  • Clinique City Block Sheer SPF 25 Sunscreen - I love this for everyday, functions as a primer almost, has a tint that will work on lighter skin tones.
  • Clinique All About Eyes Eye Cream - I love this shit.
  • Clinique Take the Day Off Eye Makeup Remover - The best.

    Rave:

  • I ordered the Eucerin Redness Relief Soothing Night Cream and it's amazing. The texture is a gel-cream, has glycerin, squalane, and one of my favorite ingredients, licorice root extract. I've been using this for a few weeks without breakouts, is very hydrating, I love it.

Oh the joys of womanhood NOT! And the lip hairs too! We lose hair where we don’t want & we gain it where we’re not meant too.

I noticed one of those myself right on my neck awhile back it was the big WTF with me too!

I use & sorry I went through this post really quick... but It works even on my lip hair. I brought this to somebody else’s attention on a post quite a while ago on here.

It’s really helps a lot, you use it in a circular motion and I honestly have not had to replace the batteries nothing for as long as I’ve had it possibly two years now. It’s painless!

Only once in a while I’ll have to plunk one of those really coarse stubborn hairs off my chin.

You can look at the reviews but love this thing. Now if I can only get rid of some of the gray that’s coming through my eyebrows . I think too much plucking through the years! Wish somebody told me not too 🙄 And it’s worse on one side!

This looks close to the one I have (in South Africa so I don't know what other countries have) but if you look for an eyebrow trimmer it should help with something like this.

Use this! Finishing Touch Hair Remover

I’ve tried waxing, threading, shaving- everything. It all makes me breakout, this is the only thing that works and is gentle enough that it doesn’t have any negative effects on my skin. It looks nice too, and it’s portable so that’s a plus.

It doesn’t work great on thicker hair (upper lip, unibrow and chin for me), I can usually still see that hair below my skin even after using this so I usually tweeze or use an eyebrow razor on those areas. But for cheeks, neck and forehead, the thinner hair that creates “fuzz,” this is perfect!

Let me just add- do. not. shave. I used to do it for years, I even thought it was “good” for my skin because it’s exfoliating. But since I’ve stopped the texture of my skin has been so, so much better. Shaving is way too harsh for facial skin. I have a lot of facial hair so I totally understand that urge, but trust me. Use a combination of tweezing and the hair remover I linked above- even if you have to do it every day it won’t harm your skin at all.

Good luck :)

You can curl or perm your eyelashes. Tinted lip balm. I also like light brown mascara and maybe a tiny bit of blush. I find it all too be low maintenence and subtle enough for me.
Last thing, https://www.amazon.com/Finishing-Touch-Flawless-Painless-Remover/dp/B071KW9GTT. It's a single head electric razor that fits in a pocket. It's also the best razor I've had.

u/SakuraAyanami · 1 pointr/Makeup

I grow thick dark hair below the chin, long thick hair sideburn style and a thin short hair mustache. On the thick hairs I use tweezers and on the rest I use this woman's hair removal tool (aka no blade shaver)
Finishing Touch Flawless Women's Painless Hair Remover https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071KW9GTT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_fhfKDbPDMGE76
It works like a charm, and from all of the hair removals I've used over the years this one does not irritates the skin, it leaves your face smooth and it's easy to clean up.

u/AlysMae13 · 1 pointr/TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I use the flawless epilator from Finishing Touch. It is technically a shaver but it works well and it feels smooth. I have been using it for about a year and had no rough patches or anything like that. And I usually only need to do it like every three weeks or so, sometimes less. You can buy the product and the heads on amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/Finishing-Touch-Flawless-Painless-Remover/dp/B071KW9GTT/ref=sr_1_7_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1538682326&sr=8-7&keywords=flawless%2Bepilator%2Bfor%2Bwomen&th=1

And this one doesn't leave a shadow too. It is much easier than waxing or using products.

Make sure when you buy replacement heads that you buy from the Finishing Touch seller on amazon as there are many copycat products that are not as good. They also sell one for your legs.

u/onewordeightletters · 1 pointr/AskWomen

I use this and love it! I would always break out after getting my lip waxed so I would put it off as long as possible. I discovered this product about a year ago and LOVE it. I've gotten one for my mother, sister, and grandmother and they all love it as well.

Could you link me what you use? I was always told hair growing back in thicker/coarser/darker was a myth but that has happened to me after every time I’ve attempted, even when using one of these as it turned areas with previously blonde peach fuzz to areas with black hairs.
