Any noise above 91 db for two hours can damage your ears. Rock concerts generally are 120 db and last an hour 1/2 to 2 hours. So you need to get ear plugs that are at least 29db in protection to last 2 hours without possibly doing damage to your ears. I recommend you purchase these and watch This video because if you're not putting earplugs in properly, they are barely doing shit.

I SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND YOU WEAR EARPLUGS TO CONCERTS. I went to coachella without earplugs last year, and the day after coachella was over I started to notice that sounds hurt my ears. Now every sound hurts my fucking ears. It's a condition known as hyperacusis, and it caused me not to leave my house for a few months. Now I leave the house and go places, but everywhere I go with any amount of sound I feel pain. I can never go to a concert or loud party ever again for the rest of my life. On top of that I have constant ringing in my ears known as tinnitus resulting from you guessed it, Coachella. Listening to music in general is also about half as pleasurable as it once was. WEAR FUCKING EARPLUGS YOU FUCK.

Yes, they are very loud. You'll be fine as long as you have hearing protection.

I use these ear plugs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G0PPTAK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_8bahwyU6yhgPZ

But anything like these should work just fine although it may not sound as good
